Book Tower Celebration in the City

To celebrate the restoration and re-opening of Book Tower in Detroit, I led the development and execution of a two-day, citywide activation.

Day one focused on community, featuring a free public festival with local vendors, food trucks, and performances by the Detroit Youth Choir and Miguel, designed to celebrate the spirit of Detroit and reintroduce the space to the city.

Day two transitioned into a VIP experience within Book Tower itself, where guests moved through the building beginning with a rooftop moment featuring a live performance by Ne-Yo, followed by curated experiences across the property’s restaurants and spaces.

For this project, I led the team and managed the client relationship, overseeing internal teams from concept through execution.
